At DD Cotton visionaries build what dreamers only see. We are a team proud of our business heritage, and at the same time keen to determine how we can create a better future for our company and the cotton industry at large. This vision of our team resonates from the vision of our experienced leaders.
Since taking over the reins of DD Cotton in 1971, BP Sekhsaria has played a crucial role in helping the company develop a strong association with members of the textile industry. Over the years his foresight and commitment to the business have helped the company build a strong branch network across the country.
It was under his leadership in 1965 that we first forayed into the area of exports, focusing on the export of Bengal Deshi cotton to Japan. An authority in cotton quality and testing, Mr. BP Sekhsaria has also been instrumental in setting up DD Cotton’s state-of-the-art ginning facility in Punjab.
Even today his expertise and experience is a recognized force within the industry, and he is currently an Arbitrator on the panel of the Cotton Association of India.
Ever since his appointment as Group Managing Director in 1989, Mr. Arun Sekhsaria has played a significant role in developing the company’s international trade. His innovative approach to the business has reflected in the company’s policy to steadily partake in more and more value-added services within the cotton chain. It is under his leadership that DD Cotton has forayed into the areas of cotton -related logistics and finance in recent years.
His guiding principle of respecting the needs of partners and allies has also seen Mr. Arun Sekhsaria emerge as an eminent voice within the cotton industry in India.
